This shot was captured on the beautiful Bantham beach in South Devon during a lovely sunset, camera sat on some rocks and a long exposure created this dream like scene.

Kennick lake on the Dartmoor National park is a stones throw from the village of Hennock and is one of 3 reservoirs, I left early on morning around 6am to get this lovely shot just before Sunrise with the fiery clouds dancing accross the sky

The epic Durdle's door on the Jurassic coast in Dorset, This image was taken shortly after sunrise, amazingly even though it was very cloudy the sky still lit up this lovely vibrant colour

The Menai straights bridge was built by Thomas Telford in 1826 to link Anglesey to mainland Wales. This bridge screams photogenic with its location and the mountains of Snowdonia in the background.

A Panoramic picture of Start point lighthouse in the South Hams of Devon, I stayed overnight at this location and was lucky enough to get a nice sunset and sunrise in, it's a lovely place and one which I will be sure to visit again.

I was working away in East anglia this summer and was mad enough to set the alarm clock for 5am, I am glad I did as I enjoyed the beach to myself during one of Norfolks stunning sunrises, Cromer pier is quite unique still being a working pier with the life boats still launching from the back of the pier.. 

This was a late visit to Westcombe bay to catch the sunset and it resulted in a great image due to the low tide allowing the rocks to appear from the ocean.

This is a site I will be revisiting in the near future for a few more compositions.

The stunning Luskentyre beach on the Isle of Harris and Lewis, I stayed the night at this stunning location to be greeted with a cloudy sunrise, However, the diffused light gave this lovely arty soft scene and stunning colour. Another shot from the stunning Hebrides.

I stayed at this location overnight on a recent campervan road trip to Scotland to be treated to this stunning sunrise at the small lake called Lochen Na Fola at Glencoe on the Scottish Highlands.

although and early start at around 4am The light came out beautifully and I got this amazing image

The stunning loch Morar on the west coast of the Scottish highlands is the deepest lake in the British isles, I was waiting for the ferry at Mallaig and had to do something for 2 hours I'm glad I discovered this stunning lake during this amazing sunset

Northen Ital'ys Dolomites, regions and lakes do not disappoint including the stunning lago di braies with the greenest waters I have ever seen and massive peaks soring out of the lake.

This image is taken from the famous boathouse, most of my time here was cloudy but midday i got enough light to spend a good day walking around this beautiful location

I had a few hours to kill before getting on the ferry to the Isle of Skye, luckily there was a nice sunset going which resulted in this capture just around the corner from the ferry port..

I always wanted to see the old man of Storr on the Isle of Skye and finally got the chance on a campervan trip to the Highlands, I was treated to an amazing sunrise however it was during storm conditions and probably the windiest hike I have ever had.

The 60+mph winds made it hard to keep the tripod steady but I love the results. I decided to capture the pinnacle lower down to capture the storm cloud above with its unusual eye of the storm shape before it disappears

Nantile lies on the Snowdonia national park, and makes an amazing composition with the mountains jutting up at the back, this was an overcast moody scene so out came the black and white image

An Autumnal still morning giving a calm estuary and amazing reflecions looking down to Totnes's Brutus bridge.

The unique Rodel saltmarsh's on the Isle of Harris on the Scotlands outer Hebrides. The peak was surrounded in mist and fog but gave this unique location so much drama and mood.

The rugged North coast of Cornwall is a stunning spot littered with beaches, coves and rugged moorland, I have tried to capture the power of the sea with the smoothed and rounded rocks contrasting the sharp headlands in the distance.

The unique Ponte dei salti Roman bridge lies in Switzerland not far from the Italian border.

The water here is a stunning Teal blue, the colours in this image are not boosted and are natural to the scene. This is a very busy tourist location and despite a number of people walking on the bridge a 16min long exposure removed them from the scene

Burgh island on the stunning South Hams coastline at sunset with the sea parting at low tide showing the path between Bigbury beach to the island.

Topsham bridge in the South Hams, is a lovely composition although its hard to get it all in the frame, by moving back you and get these amazing autumnal trees in the composition,

Bigsweir bridge is an epic bridge and is probably one of my favourite as it seems so understated, I only had a few days around this location and made it a must to stop by with hope of a decent sunset.

I was rewarded with an amazing sunset. although for my troubles I fell down a sluice and injured my leg ligaments, still I think it was worth a month off limping. The dangers of Photography hey

Norfolk has some stunning architecture, but its windmills or windpumps are almost unique in the fact they often lay in such agricultural settings, This one at Thurne was used to drain the Norfolk broads, a wetlands area

The stunning rugged Neist point on the Isle of Skye in the Scotish Hebrides, I hadn't originally planned to visit this location unless I had time on the way back from Harris and Lewis.

Luckily I suppose I couldn't get on the ferry that day so meant I managed to visit this location on a sunny day, However half an hour afer this picture, the cloud came in thich and sucked all the life out of the scene it was very dark and windy and meant I could no longer take any further picture.

However i managed to get this amazing iconic shot with the last of the light hitting the side. 

The stunning Manarola lies on Italy's Cinque Terre coast and is one of five, of the famous old fishing villages, now a tourist destination with lots of shops and restaurants.

This image was taken approx 15mins after sunset with the golden hue of the sun hitting the village.
